PELLTA is officially affiliated with two TESOL organisations. These affiliations have enhanced PELLTA's professional network in the international ELT arena. The affiliation with TESOL International Association in the United States was signed on 31 October 2006. Since then, PELLTA has had the pleasure of hosting presentations by members of the TESOL Board of Directors during PELLTA's biennial international conference, iELT-Con.
The signing of an interchange agreement with Thailand TESOL took place at a meeting between the PELLTA President, Rovena Capel and Thailand TESOL President, Dr. Paneeta Nitayaphorn on 11 December 2018 in Bangkok, Thailand. This affiliation has also resulted in an exchange of presenters at the PELLTA biennial international conference, iELT-Con and the Thailand TESOL International Conference.
